Delphi legal advisor to Geely in 50/50 joint venture with Balder
Fastighets AB Balder and Geely Europe Innovation Centre AB have formed a joint venture to develop, construct and manage the sixth building at the Uni3 by Geely business campus on Lindholmen in Gothenburg. Delphi has acted as legal advisor to Geely throughout the entire transaction process.
The Uni3 by Geely business campus is owned by Geely Europe Innovation Centre AB, which in turn is owned by Geely Sweden Holdings AB, Sweden’s largest holding company. Delphi has assisted Geely in the development of Uni3 by Geely since its inception.
The collaborative project with Balder comprises a 12-storey building containing mainly office spaces of approximately 17,500 square meters. In addition to office spaces, there is space for a restaurant, shops, exhibition and fairs on the ground floor and a roof terrace on the top floor.
The building is designed according to the Miljöbyggnad Guld environmental certification, which covers the building´s use of materials, indoor environment and energy consumption. The business campus already has five buildings, including offices, a hotel and a design center. The contractor for the project is BRA Bygg AB, which has also built the other five buildings.
Delphi, through Anders Hulegårdh, Oscar Friedrich, Adam Forsberg and Daniel Orrö, has acted as legal advisor to Geely throughout the process.
