Delphi has advised AddLife Development AB in the acquisition of all shares in Biolin Scientific AB
Delphi has been the legal advisor to AddLife Development AB, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Addlife AB (publ) listed on OMX Stockholm Mid Cap, in the acquisition of all shares in Biolin Scientific AB (“Biolin“), a subsidiary of the group Biolin Scientific, owned by Ratos.
Biolin is a leading Nordic developer and manufacturer of analytical instruments for material analysis in nanotechnology, demanded by both universities and industries worldwide with approximately 60 employees. Biolin has for several years had a strong international growth with good profitability and a turnover of approximately SEK 100 million. Today the customers are mainly within research all over the world, both within the academia and industry. The company has global sales through its own subsidiaries in US, UK and China, but also through distributors. The headquarter is in Sweden and research and production are both in Sweden and Finland.
Delphi’s team mainly consisted of Mats Dahlberg and Fredrik Mörner (responsible partners), assisted by Sandra Lima (senior associate). In addition, a large number of lawyers at Delphi were involved in the acquisition.
