Delphi advises Stångåstaden and Studentbostäder in connection with divestment of properties
Delphi has assisted AB Stångåstaden (”Stångåstaden”) and Studentbostäder i Linköping AB (”Studentbostäder”) in connection with the divestment of a larger property portfolio to Heimstaden Bostad AB (”Heimstaden”) at a value of SEK 2.5 billion.
Stångåstaden is the largest housing company in Linköping and is owned by the municipality of Linköping. Stångåstaden owns and manages approximately 18,500 apartments, of which 4,200 are student flats managed by the subsidiary Studentbostäder. In the transaction with Heimstaden, a housing portfolio of 21 properties located in Linköping was sold. The portfolio comprises a total of 1,118 homes and a few other premises. The reason for the sale is that Stångåstaden wants to strengthen its finances to continue to create opportunities and development in Linköping.
Heimstaden is a leading residential real estate company in Europe with focus on acquiring, developing and managing homes and premises.
More information about the transaction can be found in Stångåstaden’s press release.
Delphi’s team consisted of Cecilia Lundh, Helena Abelsson and Philip Alsterskär.
