Delphi advisor to Bee Charging Solutions AB and EVereg AB in connection with directed share issue
Delphi has advised Bee Charging Solutions AB (”Bee”), and Jämtkraft Aktiebolag, Öresundskraft AB and Tekniska verken i Linköping AB (publ) through their jointly owned holding company EVereg AB (”EVereg”), in connection with a directed issue of shares in Bee to Mer Sweden Holding AB (former Grön Kontakt AB), owned by Norwegian Statkraft AS. In connection with the directed share issue, Bee has also acquired Mer Sweden Holding AB’s operations including charging stations and employees.
Bee is one of Sweden’s leading companies for charging stations and provides charging solutions for electric cars and charging hybrids. Bee drives the transition towards e-mobility by offering seamless charging on the road, at home or at work. Bee’s public charging network has just over 2,000 public charging points. The company was founded in 2015 and is based in Helsingborg. Jämtkraft, Öresundskraft and Tekniska verken have been a part of Bee’s journey since the very start in 2015.
EVereg and Mer Sweden Holding AB, and indirectly the owners of each company, have through the transactions established a joint venture for the shared ownership of Bee and for the development of Bee’s operations going forward.
The investment and the joint venture have been approved by the Swedish Competition Authority, and access was completed on 7 April 2021.
Delphi’s team consisted of Göran M. Karlsson, Cecilia Lundh, Matilda Claussén-Karlsson, Philip Alsterskär, Karin Roberts and Erik Ålander.
